Horses in the pasture
Partnership with the Land

Your Horse.
Our Pastures.

Stall and pasture boarding on 246 acres with attentive, daily care. A small roster of horses so each one is truly known.

Now Accepting Boarders

Room to move.
Time to breathe.

Our peaceful pastures and the boarded horses that graze them offer another dimension of what the land can do. River & Roots offers boarding on a working ranch — covered stalls, generous pastures, fresh water, and quiet trails in every direction. We accept just three horses. A small roster so each one gets the attention it deserves.

If you are looking for a place to board, and you love knowing your horse has room to run, a barn to come home to, and a team that checks water twice a day — let's talk.

Pricing + Availability

Pricing by arrangement.

We keep a small roster and tailor care to each horse, so we don't publish flat rates. Tell us about your horse and the level of care you'd like. We'll come back with a clear quote and an invitation to walk the pastures.

Common Questions

What Owners Ask First.

Boarding details, daily care, and what's available on the property.

We accept just 3 horses by design. The small roster means every horse gets daily, individual attention — feed twice a day, fresh water checked twice a day, and a team that knows your horse by name and temperament.

Pasture board and stall board are both available. Care levels are tailored to each horse — tell us what your horse needs (feed, blanketing, fly-spray, vet/farrier coordination) and we'll build the arrangement around it.

Covered stalls with sliding barrier doors, a saddle-up area and wash rack, hay and feed storage, secure tack storage (private lockers on request), generous fenced pastures with rotational grazing, auto-fill water troughs on every fence line, and shade structures.

Twice-daily feed and water checks, stall cleaning and turnout, fly-spray and blanketing on request, and coordination with your preferred vet and farrier. We don't provide veterinary or farrier services directly — but we'll be there when they visit.

Yes. The ranch has miles of soft trail through flatwoods and along the St. Marys River — varied terrain, peaceful surroundings, and plenty of space for boarders to ride from their stall to the river without trailering.

Because we keep a small roster of 3 horses, openings are infrequent and care is tailored. Tell us about your horse (breed, age, temperament, care needs) via the inquiry form or call 303.946.5768. We'll come back with a clear quote and an invitation to walk the pastures.
